Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is keen on pursuing a permanent move away from the club.

The England international has made just one appearance this term, and he is said to be frustrated over his lack of game time.

It was recently claimed that he could leave on an 18-month loan with Newcastle United among those interested in him.

However, according to 90min, the 24-year-old is not keen on a temporary exit, and would prefer to leave the club for good.

David de Gea has been in sensational form between the sticks this season, and they are talks of him signing a new deal.

Henderson does not want to play back-up to De Gea on his return, and he is said to favour a permanent departure next year.

The Magpies are eyeing a quality shot-stopper after their Saudi-led takeover, and Henderson has been identified as the prime target.

They could be prepared to meet the valuation for Henderson, if United are willing to sanction his permanent exit in January.
