Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang in training ahead of Liverpool clash
Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is expected to start against Liverpool on Saturday after returning to training earlier today.
The Gabon international was recently on international duty. He played the 1-0 win over Libya, but was absent for the Egypt trip.
This led to suggestions that he had suffered an injury, but that does not appear the case. His absence for the game was pre-planned.
The Gunners had an agreement with Gabon that the forward would be sent early as the country were already out of World Cup contention.
Aubameyang trained normally with the squad today, and he is expected to make the starting line-up for the Gunners' trip to Anfield.
The north London club are currently fifth in the league standings, just two points behind the final Champions League spot occupied by Liverpool.
They can leapfrog the Reds with a victory, but the task is a difficult one. The club have not won at Anfield since the 2012/13 season.
