Manchester United want to sign Ousmane Dembele?
Manchester United are interested in signing Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer, El Nacional claims.
The Frenchman has been with the Catalan giants since 2017, but he has made just 120 appearances amid multiple injuries.
His current deal with the Blaugrana expires next summer, and reports claim that he has no plans of prolonging his stay.
Dembele is keen on a fresh challenge elsewhere, and it appears that United are determined to sign him despite his injury record.
The Red Devils are planning to appoint Mauricio Pochettino as their permanent manager at the end of the campaign.
The Argentine has identified Dembele as a top transfer target. The Red Devils could negotiate a pre-contract as early as January.
Chelsea have also been linked with him in the past alongside Liverpool. However, the duo are no longer in the running to sign him.
The Blues are comfortable with the vast attacking options at hand while the Reds have their sights on Raphinha and Jeremy Doku.
