His future has been speculation over the past few weeks, and Kicker claims that Dortmund are likely to make a loan proposal in January.

The club are yet to find the perfect replacement for the departed Jadon Sancho, and they are open to re-signing their former graduate.

The German giants are willing to include an option to buy as part of the deal, but it is unclear whether Thomas Tuchel would let go of Pulisic.

Tuchel is reluctant to lose any member of the squad in January with the club active across five competitions including the Club World Cup.

The Blues were initially scheduled to play the continental competition in Japan in December, but it has been rescheduled to February in UAE.
