Manchester United to move for Frenkie de Jong?

The Catalan giants are currently under a financial crisis with La Liga restricting them from spending due to their hefty wage bill.

They will need to recoup funds from player sales first, and it is claimed that United are prepared to make a bid of around £47m for De Jong.

Blaugrana president Joan Laporta recently confirmed that the club want to sign new players in January, but they are not in a position to do so.
