Newcastle United eyeing move for former Liverpool target

Newcastle United are considering a potential approach for Lille defender Sven Botman next month.

The Dutchman has been regularly linked with a Premier League move. He was on Liverpool's radar last summer before they signed Ibrahima Konate.

The centre-back is currently valued at £45m by the French champions. Lille are open to selling him in January amid their financial concerns.
