Henderson wants to leave Man Utd in January

Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson is keen on leaving the club during the winter transfer window, Fabrizio Romano claims.

The England international has played second fiddle to David de Gea this season, making just two appearances in all competitions.

He is reportedly desperate for playing time, and Romano reports that the shot-stopper will push for a permanent exit next year.

United are not actively looking to sell him, but may consider his mid-season departure if a suitable offer arrives on the table.

Tottenham Hotspur were heavily linked with Henderson last summer before they signed Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Atalanta.

Gollini could return to the Serie A outfit next summer, and there are suggestions that Henderson could still be on their radar.

Henderson won't come on the cheap, however. The Red Devils are likely to demand at least £35m to part ways with his services.

Ajax were recently linked with a winter move for the goalkeeper, but CEO Edwin van der Sar dismissed the speculation.
