Antonio Rudiger to sign new Chelsea contract?
German defender Antonio Rudiger is reportedly prepared to negotiate a new long-term contract with Chelsea.
The centre-back has been in a contract stand-off with the Blues, but he is now willing to re-evaluate his situation.
The German previously snubbed a £140,000-a-week offer. He is eyeing at least £200,000-a-week to extend his stay.
The Blues' hierarchy have yet to meet his demands, but they are now ready to make an improved proposal, as per Mail.
Rudiger has entered the final six months of his deal, and he can sign a pre-contract with a foreign club if he wishes.
Paris Saint-Germain have already made an offer, but it is now reported that Rudiger prefers to continue with the Blues.
He is now willing to re-enter the negotiable table with the Blues, and there is optimism that his contract will be extended.
The European champions are also in talks with Andreas Christensen and Cesar Azpilicueta whose deals expire next summer.
