Chelsea keen on signing Bundesliga defender?
Chelsea are interested in signing Stuttgart left-back Borna Sosa before the transfer deadline, Sky Germany claims.
The Blues are currently short in the left-back/ left wing-back position following the season-ending injury for Ben Chilwell.
Marcos Alonso is currently the only specialist option in the squad, but Malang Sarr has deputised for him with good success lately.
It is now reported that the Blues are keen on pursuing the services of Sosa, who has two goals and four assists from 18 games this term.
He has generally operated from the left midfield role, but is also capable of playing at left-back. He would suit Tuchel's 3-4-3 setup.
Stuttgart are willing to sanction his mid-season departure, but they want at least £25 million up front to do business with the Blues.
It is unclear whether the west London giants will meet the price tag, having been reluctant to do so for Lucas Digne earlier this month.
Digne was only a loan target for the Blues. He ended up joining Aston Villa on a permanent basis from Everton for around £25m.
