Mikel Arteta confirms Takehiro Tomiyasu injury blow?

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Takehiro Tomiyasu is nursing a calf injury following his absence against Burnley.
The Japan international was recently rushed back to action against Liverpool in the second leg of the Carabao Cup semi-final.
His performance was far from convincing. Following the game, Arteta acknowledged that he did not want to play him.
Tomiyasu was not part of the squad for the 0-0 draw against Burnley earlier today, Arteta has now confirmed an injury blow.
It appears that the right-back may have aggravated his calf problem. He is set to be sidelined for the next few weeks at least.
Luckily for the Gunners, there is a winter/international break. The Gunners don't play any competitive game for the next 17 days.
Tomiyasu should have sufficient time to recover. He has already been excluded from Japan's squad for their World Cup qualifiers.
The Gunners failed to jump into the top four today with a win. They are currently two points behind fourth-placed Manchester United with a game in hand.
