Martial on his way to Sevilla on loan

Manchester United have reportedly allowed Anthony Martial to join Sevilla on a short-term loan.

The Frenchman has played under 300 minutes of competitive football this term amid the vast competition for places in the attacking department.

After weeks of speculation, he has finally been granted a move away from United. He is set to join Sevilla on loan without a buy option.

Juventus were initially leading the race for the 26-year-old, but Sevilla were always the preferred destination for the ex-Monaco graduate.

Earlier this month, the La Liga outfit were reluctant to meet his wages. Sky Sports claims that they have now agreed to pay his entire salary.

It is unclear whether the Frenchman has accepted a pay-cut, considering Sevilla were put off by his £250,000-a-week wages recently.

Aside from Martial, Jesse Lingard and Eric Bailly could head for the exit door before the transfer window closes on Monday night.

Lingard has been tipped to join Newcastle United on loan while Bailly has been linked with temporary moves to AC Milan and Roma.
