Serie A giants enter race to land Chelsea defender
Serie A giants Juventus have emerged as fresh contenders to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, Sport Mediaset claims.
The German has less than five months remaining on his deal, and he has yet to be convinced over a possible contract extension.
He is free to negotiate with foreign clubs at the moment, and it is claimed that the Bianconeri could be a possible destination for him.
The 28-year-old has been touted as a possible replacement for Matthijs de Ligt, who is said to favour a move to Stamford Bridge.
The Dutchman is ready to part ways with the Bianconeri. He could head to the Blues, provided they can meet the reported price tag.
The club are looking for £84m for the Netherlands international, who is currently reluctant to renew his contract beyond June 2024.
De Ligt has also been linked with Barcelona over the past few months, but they may not afford to sign him amid financial restrictions by La Liga.
