It is now revealed that the 25-year-old has yet to make a decision whether to pursue a fresh challenge away from the Blues.

The west London giants are also unsure over the player's future. The defender may delay his stance until the end of the season.

Barcelona are already in contact with his agents over a free transfer, but Bayern Munich could offer stiff competition in the pursuit.

The German champions will lose Niklas Sule when his contract expires in June. He has already agreed a move to Borussia Dortmund.
