Chelsea keen on landing Real Madrid star?

Chelsea are reportedly keen on landing Real Madrid defender Eder Militao this summer.

The Blues are expected to sign at least one centre-back amid the uncertainty over the futures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen.

Rudiger and Christensen have entered the final five months of their deals, and they have no plans to pen renewals at the current point of time.

Both could leave on free transfers this summer. According to Marca, Militao has been identified as a possible transfer target for the Blues.

Militao is presently contracted to Real Madrid until the summer of 2025, but he is one of the lowest earners at just £3 million per year.

The Blues plan to hold talks with his representative over a transfer, but it appears the Brazilian would prefer to stay with Madrid.

Militao has been a regular starter amid injuries and high-profile exits, and he is keen to continue his long-term career in the Spanish capital.

Los Blancos may soon open negotiations over an improved deal.
