Liverpool set their sights on landing 25-goal striker
Liverpool have their sights on landing Benfica striker Darwin Nunez during this summer's transfer window.
The Uruguayan has been in superb form for the Portuguese giants this term, bagging 25 goals across all competitions.
He has been touted for a big-club move during the summer, and O Jogo claims that the Reds could be favourites to land him.
Nunez has been identified as a potential replacement for Roberto Firmino, who has experienced an injury-plagued campaign.
The Brazil international will enter the final year of his contract this summer, and reports claim that he could be shown the exit door.
West Ham United tried to sign Nunez for €45m in January, but Benfica had no plans of selling him before the transfer deadline.
The Hammers may return for him during the summer, but they could be put off by the increased €65m valuation for the striker.
Nunez has been long linked with a Premier League move. He was initially on the radar of Brighton when he was playing for Almeria.
