Man Utd striker wanted by Inter Milan

Manchester United striker Edinson Cavani has emerged as a summer target for Inter Milan, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.

The Uruguayan has experienced an injury-plagued campaign with just two goals and one assist from 17 appearances.

He is widely expected to leave when his deal expires in June, and reports claim that Inter are prepared to lure him back to Serie A.

The Nerazzurri are keen on pursuing an experienced striker. They are prepared to offload Alexis Sanchez in the process.

Cavani has been identified as a potential transfer target, considering he has had prior experience in the division with Napoli.

Aside from Cavani, the club are also keeping tabs on the contract situation of Luis Suarez. His existing deal expires this summer.

The Nerazzurri are currently keeping their options open, and could negotiate with both players before signing one of them.
