Liverpool ready to break transfer record for England star?

Liverpool are ready to break their transfer record to sign Borussia Dortmund sensation Jude Bellingham, TalkSPORT claims.

The England international is currently regarded as one of the best young midfielders in world football. He is grabbing plenty of attention.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp is a firm admirer of the 18-year-old, but any deal for the youngster may have to wait until the 2023 summer transfer window.

Dortmund parted ways with Jadon Sancho last summer, and they are now expecting Erling Braut Haaland to leave the club at the end of the season.

With this in mind, they have no plans of losing Bellingham in the same window, but the youngster could leave for the right price in 12 months.

Liverpool are prepared to make a club-record €100m bid for Bellingham, but they could face fierce competition from Real Madrid for his services.

Bellingham has also been on the radar of Manchester United in the past, but the club are rather focused on pursuing West Ham's Declan Rice.
