Arsenal back in for Premier League playmaker?

Arsenal could make an attempt to sign Leicester City playmaker James Maddison this summer, The Sun reports.
The Gunners were fancied to land the England international last summer, but they ultimately re-signed Martin Odegaard from Real Madrid.
Odegaard has been a good signing with 10 goal contributions in 32 games, but manager Mikel Arteta is eyeing more competition for places.
Maddison is widely regarded as one of the best attacking midfielders in the Premier League, having made good progress in recent years.
With two years left on his contract, the Foxes could be tempted to sell him this summer. Maddison may also be eyeing a bigger challenge.
The Gunners and Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with his services lately, but the Foxes are unlikely to sell him on the cheap.
They will hold out for £60m for the former Norwich City star, who has managed 21 goal contributions in all competitions this term.
Spurs may have the edge over the Gunners particularly if they qualify for next season's Champions League via a top-four league finish.
