Ralf Rangnick confirms Man Utd midfield injury blow
Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick has confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba will be out for the rest of the campaign.
The Frenchman picked up a calf injury against Liverpool in midweek. He was substituted after just 10 minutes on the clock.
Rangnick acknowledged that the issue was concerning, and he has now confirmed that Pogba won't play again for United this term.
After medical assessments, it has been revealed that the midfielder will require at least four weeks before he can return to training.
Pogba may have played his final game in the Red Devils' shirt, considering his contract expires at the end of the ongoing campaign.
He has no plans of penning an extension, and the decision has been made to pursue a fresh challenge after six seasons at the Red Devils.
Real Madrid and Juventus are in the mix to land his services, but the World Cup winner has not ruled out staying in the Premier League.
