Arsenal handed injury boost for Leeds United clash
Arsenal have been handed a potential injury boost with Ben White in contention to face Leeds United on Sunday.
The Gunners recently registered a third-straight league win after beating West Ham United by a 2-0 scoreline on the road.
They will be aiming to continue the momentum this weekend. Ahead of the game, Mikel Arteta has provided a positive update.
White missed the recent Hammers trip with a tight hamstring, but he is now in contention to face the Whites at the Emirates.
Arteta told Arsenal.com: "Ben White is still in contention.“He needs to train tomorrow to see if he can play."
Arsenal are currently fourth in the league standings, two points ahead of Tottenham Hotspur, whom they face next week.
The Leeds game is a must-win for them. They can potentially extend the gap over Spurs if the latter falter against Liverpool.
If that happens, the club can secure Champions League qualification by beating Spurs at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
