Chelsea confirm striker transfer on two-year deal

Chelsea have confirmed the arrival of Danny Welbeck from Brighton & Hove Albion on a two-year contract.
Welbeck was one of the best strikers in the Premier League last season. He scored 13 goals from 37 outings.
His late career form caught the eye of the Blues, and the club have now signed him on a two-year contract.
Welbeck is set to play second fiddle to Joao Pedro upfront next season, and his arrival may lead to a few departures.
Nicolas Jackson, Marc Guiu and Liam Delap are the other strikers in the squad, and a couple of them could depart.
Meanwhile, the Blues are poised to add more experience to their ranks with the signing of midfielder Jordan Henderson.
The former Liverpool captain has already secured his release from Brentford and will be signed for the Blues soon.
In fact, there is a possibility that the 36-year-old could be confirmed as the Blues' next signing in the next few hours.
