Man Utd have made best proposal for Wolves star
Manchester United have reportedly made the best transfer proposal for Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Ruben Neves.
The Portugal international has just two years remaining on his contract, and it has emerged that he is eyeing a fresh challenge.
Barcelona are his preferred destination at the moment, but the Catalan giants are not in a position to pay a huge fee amid financial concerns.
According to O Jogo, United have made an offer to Wolves which is 'more advantageous' and 'much more attractive' than Barcelona's.
They seem best placed to sign the former Porto graduate, but the main stumbling block could be to convince the player himself.
Neves is keen on playing Champions League again, having not been able to do so since moving away from Porto nearly five years ago.
Meanwhile, he is also determined to join Barcelona, who are his dream club. United have a tough task on their hands to land his services.
Neves has also been linked with Arsenal, but they face a similar challenge.
