Arsenal target open to leaving Manchester City
Arsenal target Oleksandr Zinchenko is open to leaving Manchester City this summer, provided he can play in his preferred central midfield role.
The Ukraine international has been a back-up left-back for the Cityzens over the years, and has barely operated in the centre of the park.
Zinchenko believes he is best suited in midfield and 90min claims that he is prepared to move on in order to play in his preferred position.
Arsenal and West Ham United are among his main admirers, and the former are willing to assure him minutes from midfield next season.
However, it remains to be seen what kind of role Zinchenko may play with Granit Xhaka and Thomas Partey being undisputed starters when fit.
Partey has obviously had injury concerns over his two seasons at the club, but Zinchenko may not want to rely on the same to break into the XI.
Arsenal are reportedly eyeing at least one midfielder this summer. They have been regularly linked with Leicester City's Youri Tielemans lately.
