Man Utd want to agree deal for Bundesliga defender
Manchester United are reportedly keen on landing the services of Bundesliga defender David Raum.
The 24-year-old had a sensational debut season in the German Bundesliga with Hoffenheim, bagging three goals and 13 assists.
His progress has grabbed the attention of the Red Devils, and Sky Germany claims that they are plotting a summer approach.
The club are still far off from making a formal offer, but it is claimed that Hoffenheim could sell him for around £30 million.
United are not alone in the pursuit of the attacking left-back. Borussia Dortmund are also interested in acquiring his services.
However, they need to offload Nico Schulz or Raphael Guerreiro first, and it remains to be seen whether United can seal a quick deal.
West Ham United and Newcastle United have also been credited with an interest, but Raum is likely to prefer European football.
Raum has become Germany's first-choice left-back over the past year, and he may want an assured starting role at his next club.
United currently have Luke Shaw and Alex Telles as the left-back options. The latter will be expected to be sold if Raum arrives.
