Man Utd make Cristiano Ronaldo transfer decision

Ronaldo set for Man Utd stay amid Chelsea links

Manchester United have no plans of parting ways with Cristiano Ronaldo during this summer's transfer window.

The Portuguese made a stunning comeback with the Red Devils last summer and went on to score 24 goals last season.

Despite this, the club finished sixth in the league standings. They failed to win a trophy for the fifth successive campaign.

This has led to speculation that he could move on, but United are clear that they don't want to lose his services this summer.

His agent Jorge Mendes has recently contacted Bayern and Chelsea, but United are adamant that the 37-year-old is going nowhere.

United were planning to sign a marquee striker this month, but their focus has changed after missing out on Darwin Nunez.

Following the setback, the club are prepared to rely on Ronaldo up front, and will try to sign a more versatile forward instead.

Ajax's Antony is the prime transfer target, but he will cost at least €80m.
