Chelsea get to know Juventus' demands for De Ligt
Juventus are prepared to sanction the sale of Matthijs de Ligt to Chelsea, provided their transfer demands are met.
The Netherlands international recently handed in a transfer request, but the Bianconeri are still eyeing a premium fee.
According to Calciomercato, the Blues recently opened talks with the Bianconeri for De Ligt, but were put off by the demands.
Juventus are willing to sign Timo Werner as a makeweight for De Ligt, but also want around £60-69 million in the form of cash.
However, Chelsea are only prepared to offer £25m and this has apparently hit a roadblock in their proposal to sign the defender.
Still, the Blues have not entirely given up on their pursuit, and are willing to hold fresh talks with the Turin giants in the near future.
De Ligt has been identified as Thomas Tuchel's top centre-back target with Jules Kounde now open to staying in La Liga next season.
Kounde has his sights on joining Barcelona from Sevilla this summer.
