Armando Broja to join Newcastle United?
Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing Chelsea forward Armando Broja on a season-long loan agreement.
The 20-year-old spent the recent campaign on loan with Southampton, bagging nine goals and one assist from 38 appearances.
He still has another four years left to run on his Blues contract, but it is unclear whether he could make his breakthrough next term.
West Ham United have been fancied to sign him in recent weeks, but Sky Sports News claim that Newcastle are also in the hunt.
Broja featured in pre-season for the Blues last term. He was hugely impressive for them, but was still loaned out to the Saints.
Romelu Lukaku's arrival from Inter Milan led to the decision, but the Belgian has recently been loaned back to the Nerazzurri.
Hence, he could get the chance to break into Thomas Tuchel's plans for next season, suppose they don't pursue another centre-forward.
The Blues are currently focused on signing wingers over a new striker.
