Lisandro Martinez wants Premier League move
Ajax defender Lisandro Martinez is looking forward to joining Arsenal or Manchester United during this summer's transfer window.
The Premier League giants are believed to be in a two-horse race for the Argentine, who has played in multiple positions for Ajax.
The 24-year-old is a central defender by trade, but he is also capable of operating in the full-back positions or as a holding midfielder.
According to ESPN, both Arsenal and United have expressed an interest in Martinez, who is prepared to move to the Premier League this summer.
United have an advantage with the presence of former Ajax boss Erik ten Hag, but Arsenal are not completely out of the transfer pursuit.
Martinez obviously has a good relationship with Ten Hag, but he is also said to value the reputation built by manager Mikel Arteta at Arsenal.
Hence, he is prepared to play for either club and it may depend on which side is prepared to assure him with more playing time next season.
