Premier League midfielder agrees terms with Man Utd
Christian Eriksen has agreed personal terms with Manchester United ahead of a free transfer this month, The Athletic reports.
The Denmark international is a free-agent after leaving Brentford, and he has now accepted a three-year proposal from United.
He is expected to undergo his medical in the coming days and could potentially become the club's second signing after Tyrell Malacia.
Eriksen suffered a shock cardiac arrest at the Euros last summer, but he has since made a terrific recovery to revive his career.
The Bees took the chance with him on a short-term deal in January. He was superb for them with four goals and one assist from 11 games.
Brentford obviously wanted to keep hold of him, but United have lured him with a lucrative salary package of £200,000-a-week.
On top of the wages, the midfielder will also be assured with a signing-on fee of around £10 million from the Mancunian giants.
The 30-year-old has been a long-term transfer target for United, and he finally has the chance to prove his credentials with them.
