Cristiano Ronaldo has remained ever elusive about whether or not he will still be at Old Trafford next season.

The Portugese winger who has been a revelation this season and added an eye for goals to his repetoire has always been closely followed by Europe’s top guns, with Ramon Calderon keeping a closer eye than most.

The newly crowned PFA Player of the Year had always expressed an interest in joining one of Spain’s elite clubs and is now insistent on leaving those sorts of discussions until after the Champions League final in Moscow.

“What I want to do is play in the final and win the next game against West Ham to win the league,” the 23-year-old told Spanish Daily Marca.

“For my future, I neither know nor want to talk about it. After the Champions League final, we can talk about it.”

Sir Alex Ferguson will of course pull out all the stops to ensure that Ronaldo stays at United for the foreseeable future but may well be unhappy that the wing wizard is not publically confirming his intention to stay.
