Arsenal star on the verge of joining London club
Arsenal goalkeeper Bernd Leno is reportedly on the verge of joining Fulham, who were recently promoted to the Premier League.
The Cottagers were initially linked with the German at the start of June, and they have now stepped up their interest in signing him.
The Gunners have been holding out for around £10m for Leno, but they are now prepared to accept a package of £8m for his sale.
Leno has already agreed personal terms with the west London club, and it appears only a matter of time before the deal goes through.
The 30-year-old has received plenty of offers from abroad and Germany, but he is said to be determined to continue in the English capital.
Leno wants to make the World Cup squad with Germany with regular minutes and believes Fulham will offer him the perfect platform.
Fulham have been relegated in the last two top-flight seasons, but could fare better this time. Leno will have a key role to play for them.
