Man Utd in talks to sign £55m striker?

Manchester United are looking to secure the services of Red Bull Salzburg striker Benjamin Sesko, as per The Mirror.

The 19-year-old has made a big impression for Salzburg over the past year, and he has been touted to pursue a bigger challenge.

United have been keeping tabs, and it is now reported that football director John Murtough has been in contact with his agent.

The Red Devils wanted to analyse the possibility of signing him, but it remains to be seen whether they make a huge outlay.

Salzburg want to keep Sesko for at least another campaign, and they are reluctant to lose him for anything less than £55m.

United spent a similar figure to land Anthony Martial from Monaco seven years ago, and they may need to make a repeat.

Sesko has the credentials to succeed in the Premier League with his pace, trickery, aerial ability as well as quality finishing.
