Presnel Kimpembe makes Chelsea transfer decision

Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe has decided to stay put at the club amid interest from Chelsea.

The Blues entered talks with Les Parisiens for the central defender earlier this month, but their opening bid fell short of the €60m price tag.

They had planned to make a renewed attempt, but that won't happen anymore as the Frenchman has revealed his intention to continue at PSG.

Kimpembe has a longing desire to win the Champions League, and believes he can achieve his ambition by staying with the French giants.

The news should come as a potential blow for the Blues, who have missed out on landing several central defenders in the transfer window.

Matthijs de Ligt and Jules Kounde rejected them to join Bayern Munich and Barcelona respectively. Meanwhile, Nathan Ake is not for sale.
