Telles not on Porto's radar

Manchester United have been handed a transfer blow with Porto not interested in re-signing Alex Telles this summer.

The Brazil international has been the deputy left-back to Luke Shaw in recent years, but has fallen down the pecking order with Tyrell Malacia's arrival.

He has been touted to head for the exit door, but Pedro Sepulveda claims that Porto are not interested in re-signing their former captain.

Telles was sensational for the Primeira Liga giants. He managed over 80 goal involvements in 194 appearances across all competitions.

He could replicate his performances on his comeback, but Porto are not looking to bolster their left-back department at the moment.

Despite this, Telles will be hoping to make way from the Red Devils as he needs regular playing time ahead of the winter World Cup.

Telles has been a regular part of the Brazil squad this year, and he needs to perform at a high level to make the World Cup in Qatar.
