Arsenal set to sell midfielder to Turkish giants
Arsenal are set to sanction the departure of midfielder Lucas Torreira to Galatasaray, according to Foot Mercato.
The Gunners have been keen on offloading the Uruguay international from their ranks, and they have finally reached a transfer agreement.
Galatasaray have made a bid worth £6 million including add-ons which has already been accepted by the north London club.
The Turkish giants are now in negotiations with Torreira, and they are confident of agreeing terms over a four-year deal.
Arsenal have an interest in signing Leicester City midfielder Youri Tielemans this summer, but they have been waiting for an exit.
The departure of Torreira should free up space for the Belgian's arrival. The Foxes value him in the region of £30 million at the moment.
Manchester United have also been linked with the 25-year-old, but he is said to have already agreed personal terms with the Gunners.
Arsenal could make a formal move for him as soon as Torreira leaves.
