Arthur Melo to move to England?

Premier League duo West Ham United and Newcastle United are to do battle to sign Juventus midfielder Arthur Melo, with the pair both ready to pay 30 million euros to sign the defensive midfielder. The Brazilian defensive midfielder, 26, has been left out of Juventus' squad for the Serie A season ahead of a likely transfer away from the Turin side.

Melo arrived at Juventus in 2020 from Barcelona and played 42 games last season, but has failed to win over the club's supporters and management team and the player will now be allowed to leave for a new challenge.

West Ham are considering a move for Arthur Melo as a partner for Declan Rice in the Hammers midfield, whilst Newcastle are looking for an alternative to Jonjo Shelvey, who recently suffered an injury.

TuttoJuve have released a report stating that both clubs are desperate to sign the Brazilian international, who has an impressive passing success completion ratio of 89.7 percent.

Valencia have also emerged as potential candidates for the midfielder, but are not willing to match the same price that Newcastle are set to pay for the player.
