Manchester United could be handed a big injury boost with Anthony Martial being available for the Liverpool game.

The Red Devils have made the worst possible start to the season with zero points on the board after two matches.

They face another difficult outing against Liverpool on Monday, and it could quite easily become three straight losses.

Amidst this, The Sun report that Martial could be fit to make his comeback after a hamstring injury suffered in pre-season.

Martial could be involved in full training on Wednesday, and may be deemed fit for the crunch encounter on August 22.

The 26-year-old had an excellent pre-season, and it was anticipated that he could lead the line against Brighton this month.

The setback has cost him his place, and he will be determined to prove himself when he makes his return to the squad.

Erik ten Hag will confirm later this week whether the Frenchman will be available to face Jurgen Klopp's side on Monday.
