Billy Gilmour set to leave Chelsea permanently
Chelsea midfielder Billy Gilmour is set to join Brighton & Hove Albion on a permanent basis, according to Standard Sport.
The Scotland international was once regarded as one of the best young graduates at Chelsea, but he has barely played for them.
After spending the past season on loan with Norwich City, he is now set to leave the Blues on a permanent basis for regular playing time.
The Seagulls are set to land his signature for around £10m, and it remains to be seen whether the Blues will negotiate any buy-back clause.
Aside from Gilmour, there are suggestions that Conor Gallagher could also leave the Blues on a permanent agreement for Aston Villa.
The west Midlands outfit are negotiating the potential sale of Douglas Luiz to Arsenal, and could then make a late swoop for Gallagher.
The England ace could leave the Blues for around £27 million. Chelsea return to action against West Ham United on Saturday afternoon.
