Jurgen Klopp not worried about Liverpool sack
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has said that he has no worries of being sacked following the club's 4-1 Champions League loss at Napoli.
The Merseyside giants were completely outplayed by the Naples outfit on Wednesday night, and the margin of defeat could have been bigger.
This led to suggestions that Klopp's position could be under scrutiny but the German dismissed any fears by highlighting the ownership's trust in him.
He said: "Not really, this is not the case. Our owners are rather calm and expect me to sort the situation and not think someone else will."
Klopp has been in charge of the Reds for nearly seven years, and he is now facing one of the toughest challenges with an ageing squad.
A number of senior players have been far from their best this campaign and Klopp needs to quickly turnaround the club's fortunes.
Injuries have certainly not helped in the early part of the season, but the club need to find the winning formula as soon as possible.
