Man Utd trio absent for Manchester derby?
Manchester United trio Anthony Martial, Harry Maguire and Marcus Rashford could be absent for the Manchester derby.
Martial has been sidelined since the Liverpool game in August with an Achilles injury, and it appears the setback is somewhat serious.
On the other hand, Rashford has been unavailable since the 3-1 win over Arsenal this month. Neither player has returned to full training.
Aside from the duo, Maguire is another absentee after his thigh injury on international duty for England against Germany earlier this week.
Erik ten Hag is due to provide an update in tomorrow's press conference, but it seems that the trio won't be available for the Manchester City game.
The news will come as a big blow for the Dutchman, given he would want both Martial and Rashford in his starting XI against the Cityzens.
Ten Hag has been prepared to play on the counter-attack of late, and Martial and Rashford would perfectly fit into his game plan for the derby.
