Man Utd without eight players for Omonia clash

Manchester United will be without eight first-team players when they face Omonia in the Europa League tomorrow.

The Red Devils currently have Phil Jones, Brandon Williams and Axel Tuanzebe, who are out with long-term injuries.

Aside from the trio, Mason Greenwood is obviously suspended.

Erik ten Hag has now revealed that Raphael Varane and Harry Maguire won't play any part on Thursday with injuries of their own.

Maguire came from international duty carrying a muscle problem while Varane sustained an ankle concern in the Manchester derby.

Meanwhile, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Donny van de Beek have also been deemed injured, but Ten Hag did not provide a prognosis.

United suffered a shock 6-3 defeat in the Manchester derby last weekend and they will be aiming for a strong response against Omonia.

Ten Hag could contemplate changes to the line-up, but he does not have room to make many in defence amid the ongoing injury crisis.

The likes of Diogo Dalot and Lisandro Martinez are expected to start.
