Arsenal planning shock swoop for Man Utd star?

Arsenal are reportedly planning a surprise approach for Manchester United star Marcus Rashford next summer.

The north London giants bolstered their attack with Gabriel Jesus, Marquinhos and Fabio Vieira ahead of this season.

However, the club are still eyeing more reinforcements and Football Insider claim that Rashford is being monitored.

Rashford has been in good form this campaign with three goals and two assists from seven Premier League appearances.

His current deal with the Red Devils expires in June 2023, but the club have the option to extend by another 12 months.

The hierarchy are expected to trigger the clause but it remains to be seen whether they can prolong his stay further.

Rashford has been a key player for them over the years, but they could sell him next summer if he declines a renewal.

Arsenal appear to be keen admirers of the England international and only time will tell whether they can prise him away.

The Gunners are currently top of the Premier League standings.
