Liverpool midfielder misses training ahead of Arsenal game
Arsenal have been handed a boost with Liverpool midfielder Thiago Alcantara absent from Saturday's team training session.
The Reds have been hampered by several injuries this campaign and they will be without Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Andy Robertson and Curtis Jones for the Gunners game.
They have now suffered another possible injury blow with Thiago not spotted in today's training. The Spaniard was nowhere to be seen in the latest round of pictures received by the media.
The news will come as a huge boost for Mikel Arteta's side, who will go into tomorrow's game at the Emirates Stadium with some sort of optimism.
Liverpool have clearly had the better of them over the past five or more years, but the Gunners will be aiming to put on a strong performance.
Arsenal need to pick up a victory over Jurgen Klopp's side tomorrow to ensure that they are back at the top of the Premier League standings.
