Arsenal make Pedro Neto transfer decision
Arsenal won't be pursuing the services of Pedro Neto during the January transfer window, according to The Express.
The Gunners were eager to land the Portugal international this summer but they were put off by Wolves' £50m price tag.
The north London giants ended up without signing another winger, but it was claimed that they could return for Neto in January.
However, those plans have been put to bed after the Midlands outfit confirmed that Neto has suffered a fresh long-term injury.
The Portuguese recently underwent a surgery for a serious ankle problem and he may not return to action until the New Year.
Considering his worrying his injury record of late, the Gunners have decided against reviving their interest in the next window.
Arsenal could still sign another wide player this winter if they are still in the title race with current favourites Manchester City.
The Gunners recently climbed back to the top of the Premier League table with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Liverpool at home.
