Denis Zakaria to leave Chelsea in January?
Swiss midfielder Denis Zakaria will reportedly hold talks with Chelsea regarding his future beyond January.
The 25-year-old joined the Blues from Juventus on loan before the summer transfer deadline. His signing was recommended by Thomas Tuchel.
However, Tuchel was sacked just a week later and this has left Zakaria in a limbo. He has yet to play a single minute for the Blues this campaign.
Meanwhile, the midfielder has also been ignored by new boss Graham Potter. He was not even on the bench against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Zakaria is now planning to hold crunch talks with the Blues to find out their plans for him in the coming weeks.
If there is a negative response, it is most likely that his loan contract will be terminated in January such that he can return to the Bianconeri.
Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri was willing to give him minutes, but Zakaria pushed for a move to Chelsea which he is now regretting.
