Arsenal interested in signing Cody Gakpo?
Arsenal are reportedly one of the clubs that could compete for Cody Gakpo's signature in January.
The Gunners were eyeing a new winger during the summer transfer window, and they had an interest in Wolves' Pedro Neto.
The £50m price tag eventually put them off from signing him, and it appears they may have dodged a bullet in doing so.
Neto recently picked up a fresh ankle injury and Wolves have confirmed that he is unlikely to return until mid-December.
Arsenal no longer have plans to return for the Portuguese and they could instead focus on landing Gakpo from PSV.
Gakpo has been in sensational form for the Dutch side this term with 13 goals and 10 assists from just 16 appearances.
He is said to be eyeing a big-club move after the World Cup and the Gunners could land him if they are in the title race.
The north London giants are presently top of the Premier League standings with 24 points, one ahead of Manchester City.
