Erik ten Hag confirms fresh Man Utd injury blow
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has confirmed that Anthony Martial won't be involved against Omonia tomorrow.
The Frenchman made his first start of the campaign against Everton last weekend, but was substituted after 30 minutes.
He had picked up a hip problem during the warm-up before the game, and was unable to carry on beyond the half-an-hour mark.
Ten Hag has now revealed that the attacker has not recovered in time and he was not involved in today's training session.
However, the Dutch tactician said that the 26-year-old could make his comeback ahead of the Newcastle United game.
United have picked up six points from their first three Europa League outings.
Ten Hag is determined to seal the top spot in the group, but it won't be easy with Real Sociedad having made the perfect start.
United need to pile on the pressure on the La Liga outfit over the next two matchdays before they face each other once more.
