Paris Saint-Germain want to sign Arsenal defender

Paris Saint-Germain are keeping tabs on Arsenal defender William Saliba ahead of a possible approach, according to Ben Jacobs.

Saliba has excelled for the Gunners with several stand-out displays, but there continue to remain doubts over his long-term future.

His current deal expires in the summer of 2024, and there has been no progress made when it comes to negotiating a possible extension.

Amidst this, CBS Sports' Jacobs claims that Les Parisiens are monitoring Saliba and could take advantage of his contract situation.

Arsenal are hopeful of committing Saliba to a new long-term deal, but the Frenchman could be swayed by the chance to play in Paris.

He was born in the city and there could be the temptation to join PSG. Arsenal must convince him before his head is turned by the interest.
