Chelsea and Arsenal face competition for Belgian star
Chelsea and Arsenal are set to face competition from Atletico Madrid in the pursuit of Brighton & Hove Albion star Leandro Trossard.
The Belgium international has been in superb form for the Seagulls this campaign, registering five goals and two assists from nine outings.
His form has led to suggestions that he could be set for a big-money move and there appears plenty of competition to sign him at the moment.
Trossard has been linked with a possible reunion with manager Graham Potter at Chelsea in recent weeks, but Arsenal are also keeping tabs.
Meanwhile, Atletico Madrid have now entered the race and they could have an advantage over the London giants at the turn of the year.
Trossard will enter the final six months of his Brighton deal in January and he will be free to speak with foreign clubs at that point of time.
Atletico can obviously negotiate a pre-contract with him for a free transfer. This could urge Chelsea or Arsenal to buy him in January itself.
