Chelsea in pole position to sign Milan Skriniar
Chelsea are reportedly in pole position to sign Inter Milan defender Milan Skriniar at the end of the current campaign.
The Blues were linked with the Slovakian star during the summer transfer window, but were put off by the €70 million price tag.
The London giants did not want to pay the fee, considering he had already entered the final year of his contract with the Nerazzurri.
It is now reported by Calciomercato that Inter have yet to convince Skriniar over a renewal and he could leave for nothing next summer.
The Serie A outfit have decided that they won't sell him midway through the campaign, but foreign clubs can negotiate terms from January.
Chelsea are already planning to open talks with the central defender, but they won't be alone with Paris Saint-Germain also keen admirers.
The French champions were willing to pay around €55 million for his services this summer, but Inter simply refused to sell for less.
